For now, hotels and restaurants were allowed to offer in-dining facility only till 4 pm, as part of the restrictions imposed due to transmission of coronavirus

The Maharashtra government has further eased the Covid-19 related curbs. The government allows the hotels and restaurants to operate till 10pm across the state, at 50% seating capacity, from 15th August.

For now, hotels and restaurants were allowed to offer in-dining facility only till 4 pm, as part of the restrictions imposed due to transmission of coronavirus. They were allowed to continue home-delivery and takeaway services as per the usual timing.

A detailed rules and regulations on the operation of the hotels and restaurants for in-dining services till 10pm, is expected to be issued shortly.

The state government has also increased the number of guests at wedding ceremonies to 200. In enclosed halls, they are restricted to be held with 50% capacity.

The government have further permitted to reopen malls from 15th August. All the stuffs must be vaccinated and social distancing norms must be strictly followed.
