During periods of significant attention, the company has added the ability to limit comments and DM requests. When people try to submit potentially unpleasant remarks, Instagram will now provide greater warnings.
Hidden Words is an existing feature in the app that allows you to automatically filter objectionable words, phrases, and emojis into a Hidden folder that you don’t have to open if you don’t want to. It also flags DM requests that are potentially spammy or low-quality. However, while this feature was previously only available in a few countries, Instagram has announced that it will be made available to everyone by the end of this month.
A new Hidden Words feature has also been added to the app.Users will now see a ‘Limits’ tool, which will automatically conceal comments and DM requests from those who don’t follow you or who followed you recently. Everyone on Instagram can use the function.
