Rahul Gandhi, Congress MP, visited with the family of a nine-year-old Dalit girl who was allegedly raped, murdered, and forced cremated by her assailants in Delhi’s Cantonment neighbourhood on Sunday.

‘I spoke with the family… they want justice and nothing else. They’re saying justice is not being given to them and that they should be helped. We will do that. I said ‘I am standing with you. Rahul Gandhi is standing with them until they get justice’,” Gandhi said.

Rahul Gandhi, Congress MP, visited with the family of a nine-year-old Dalit girl who was allegedly raped, murdered, and forced cremated by her assailants in Delhi’s Cantonment neighbourhood on Sunday.

Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi Chief Minister, who has advocated for improvements in the city’s law and order situation, is due to visit with the young girl’s family and has promised to assist in the search for justice.
