On Monday, the Money Heist Season 5 Part One trailer was published. And, as expected, it’s jam-packed with action. The criminal drama is poised to hit theatres in less than a month, and the trailer has only raised the stakes.

The creators of the Netflix crime thriller predict an exciting season filled with high-octane drama and unexpected twists. There’s some mystery behind Berlin’s flashback appearance, and Gandia also receives a fatal blow from Tokyo.

The nearly two-minute video depicts a violent confrontation between the gang, which has been locked inside the Bank of Spain for over 100 hours, and the military, which was dispatched by the government to apprehend them. Meanwhile, The Professor (lvaro Morte) is apprehended by police officer Alicia Sierra (Najwa Nimri), who ties him up in shackles and tortures him.

The video effectively suggests a conflict between the gang and the army stationed inside the bank in order to apprehend the former.

Sergio, aka The Professor, on the other hand, is at the mercy of inspector Alicia Sierra. While we see Sergio bound, chained, and tormented, we know there’s more to it than meets the eye, as our mastermind always has incredible escape plans. And we anticipate the same in the future.
