Alexa Swinton joins the relaunch of 'Sex and the City'

Alexa Swinton has joined the cast of the upcoming HBO Max reboot of ‘Sex and the City,’ in which she will play Rose Goldenblatt. Charlotte York Goldenblatt and her husband Harry, who play Rose’s adoring parents, Kristin Davis and Evan Handler, were seen with her this weekend.

In New York, the actress was observed filming for the project in the character of Rose Goldenblatt. Darren Star created the original “Sex and the City” series, which was based on a novel by Candace Bushnell.

Swinton, who is twelve years old, has been cast as Rose Goldenblatt, the younger daughter of Davis’ Charlotte and Harry Goldenblatt, who is played by Evan Handler, in the HBO Max series, according to Deadline.

Swinton, whose credits include Showtime’s “Billions,” was seen filming the show with Davis and Handler in New York City this weekend.

HBO Max has been contacted for comment by Deadline.

Parker, Nixon, and Davis, who also executive produce the 10-episode revival, will embark on a new journey in life as three pals in their 50s.

The new series’ cast also includes Sara Ramirez, Sarita Choudhury, Nicole Ari Parker, and Karen Pittman.

Kim Cattrall, who starred as one of the four leads Samantha Jones in “Sex and the City” and its two sequels, will not be involved in the film. (PTI)
