While the number of daily COVID-19 cases fell to its lowest level in 118 days, single-day fatalities in India increased dramatically in the previous 24 hours.

While the number of daily COVID-19 cases fell to its lowest level in 118 days, single-day fatalities in India increased dramatically in the previous 24 hours. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the country had 2020 new fatalities and 31,443 new illnesses on Tuesday morning. With this, the country's overall number of coronavirus-related deaths has risen to 4,10,784. However, the current caseload has dropped to 4,31,315 cases, the lowest level in almost 110 days.
In the previous 24 hours, however, 49,007 individuals have recovered, bringing the recovery rate to 97.28 percent. India has recovered 3,00,63,720 items so far.
The Delta variety is sweeping the globe at breakneck speed, causing a fresh surge in cases and deaths.
