UFO Report: No Signs Of Extraterrestrials, But 143 Mysterious Objects Remain Unsolved
This may have been the day that the burning question, “Are there aliens out there?” was finally
answered. Regrettably, we’ll have to wait some more.
A UFO report released by the US government on Friday concluded there was no evidence of aliens, but it
did recognise 143 claims of “unidentified aerial phenomena” since 2004 that could not be explained.
The Office of the Director of National Intelligence released the study, which included significant military
involvement. The research is part of the largest public effort to date to address decades of UFO
curiosity, rumour, and irrational conspiracy theories.
Navy pilots reported sighting UFOs — and video some of them — off the East Coast of the United States
during a period of months in 2014 and 2015.
The pilots, including several who have spoken publicly, said the mysterious objects moved with
unprecedented speed, agility, and acceleration. In some cases, the pilots claimed that the objects had
gone submerged.
The report was ordered by Congress, and it shows that government personnel are more eager to talk
about UFOs without fear of being mocked.
Florida Republican Senator Marco Rubio pushed for the investigation, saying in a statement, “This report
is a critical first step toward chronicling these events, but it is only that. Before we can truly appreciate if
these aerial threats pose a serious national security threat, the Defense Department and intelligence
community must do a lot of work.”
Many of the inexplicable sightings have occurred in recent years, since the Air Force and Navy have
implemented formal reporting protocols for such encounters.
To begin with, the government is referring to “unusual aerial phenomena” rather than “UFOs” to avoid
the stigma that has often accompanied discussing them.
Nonetheless, the research stated that, "The limited amount of high-quality reporting on unidentified
aerial phenomena (UAP) hampers our ability to draw firm conclusions."
While the report didn’t have many answers, it did present a number of options.
The UFOs, or UAPs, could be part of a secret US government or military effort, according to the report,
although it did not provide any examples.
Furthermore, they could be part of a covert effort in a country with superior aerial capabilities, such as
Russia or China, though the report provided no evidence of this.
UFOs have been seen in some cases “unique properties of flight These observations could be the
consequence of sensor failures, spoofing, or observer error, and they need to be investigated further “
The report’s primary contents were widely leaked to the media earlier this month, and few people are
expected to reconsider their minds.

For UFO sceptics, the report will likely confirm their suspicions that aliens whizz by on a regular basis but
don’t bother to give a clear message.
The report’s admission of so many unidentified objects is likely to prompt calls for increased resources
to investigate the phenomenon.
After funds was included in a large spending measure agreed by Congress late last year that focused
mostly on COVID relief, the US intelligence agencies and military were compelled to provide this report.
On Dec. 27, former President Donald Trump signed the measure, giving the Office of the Director of
National Intelligence 180 days to complete the report and submit it to Congress.
