Andre Russell played a brilliant innings against Chennai Super Kings and completed his half-century off just 21 balls. He hit 6 sixes and three fours in his innings and his strike rate was beyond 245.

In the 15th league match of IPL 2021, KKR's stormy batsman Andre Russell got to watch the cricket fans. Andre Russell faced 22 balls against Chennai with an innings of 54 runs and during this time he hit 6 sixes and 3 fours and his strike rate was 245.45. However, he had completed his half-century off 21 balls. 

In the 14th season of IPL, Andre Russell did the job of scoring the fastest half-century for Kolkata, while in this season it proved to be the second fastest half-century ever. Deepak Hooda did his best to score the fastest half-century so far this season and he completed his half-century from 20 balls, while Russell has now come in second place in this matter. At the same time, Mayank Agarwal, the third fastest half-century of this season, hit just 25 balls. 

In this match played between Chennai and Kolkata, CSK batted first and scored 220 for 3 wickets in 20 overs. For Chennai, Rituraj Gaikwad scored 64 runs while Fof Duplessis scored an unbeaten 95 runs. Moin Ali scored 25 runs while Dhoni scored 17 runs. Although Kolkata scored 202 runs, they lost by 18 runs. Apart from Andre Russell for KKR, Pat Cummins also batted very well and scored 66 not out off 34 balls with the help of 6 sixes and 4 fours.
