Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that it was decided at the cabinet meeting that lockdown would have to be imposed. In such a situation, the lockdown will be imposed in a strict manner from eight o'clock on Wednesday night, but the CM can announce it soon.

An entire 15-day lockdown could be announced in Maharashtra. In the state cabinet meeting on Tuesday, almost all the ministers made this demand to rectify the worsening situation of Corona in Maharashtra. The Chief Minister can announce it on Wednesday. This lockdown will be similar to the long lockdown last year.

The number of corona patients in Maharashtra has been steadily increasing. After the Cabinet meeting on Tuesday, the Health and Family Welfare Minister, while speaking to reporters, said that the situation is serious. We are facing many problems. All the ministers were in favor of complete lockdown. The Chief Minister will take the final decision in this regard.

The ministers believe that only by adopting this measure can the corona chain be broken. The Maharashtra government took the path of strict restrictions and weekend lockdown about 15 days ago. But it does not appear to have any benefit. Citizens continue to leave the streets for no solid reason.

Therefore, the administration does not see any other option other than complete lockdown. During this lockdown, instructions will be given to keep private offices completely closed and government offices can continue to operate with a capacity of 50 percent.
