Scientists around the world have special curiosity about Mars. Scientists are engaged in lifting the curtain from the mysteries of the planet Mars, the red planet. Meanwhile, the US space agency NASA has released a picture of Mars. This picture is of the blue dunes of this planet, blue-looking dunes. This picture is drawn by the Odyssey Orbiter. It was launched in 2001. Mars is the longest living space. NASA scientists are excited and delighted to see these images.

Odyssey was sent to Mars for a special purpose. This NASA orbiter measures the temperature of Mars. On Mars, it provides information of day and night temperatures. This allows scientists to determine whether physical material such as rock, sand or dust exists on this planet. Its sent data also traces the ways cold and hot on the planet.

The Odyssey was launched on 7 April 2001 from the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. It has the distinction of becoming the longest working spacecraft on Mars in the history of space. This was a major achievement of NASA scientists. These images were taken by Mars Odyssey during November 2002 and November 2004. It has been released by NASA to mark the completion of 20 years of Odyssey.

While releasing this photo, NASA has captioned that "Blue Dunes on the Red Planet" means the image of the blue mound on the red planet. This picture is going viral on the internet media. People are getting a lot of reactions on this photo. It is also being liked a lot. NASA scientists have said that the picture is taken from the north pole of Mars. NASA claims that this mound was caused by strong winds on Mars. This area is spread over 30 km.

This picture has been taken with the infrared camera of the Odyssey Orbiter. This camera positioned in the orbiter is called the Thermal Emission Imaging System. NASA said that the different colors seen in this picture are showing different temperatures on the surface of the red planet. The yellow or orange color seen in this picture indicates higher temperatures, while the blue color indicates colder temperatures.
