IPL 2021 has a liquor brand as a sponsor of Chennai Super Kings. In such a situation, England all-rounder Moeen Ali has refused to wear this tshirt and requested CSK to remove the logo.

England all-rounder Moeen Ali is going to play for Chennai Super Kings i.e. CSK in the 14th season of the Indian Premier League. Chennai Super Kings' jersey has a liquor brand logo, which is why Moin Ali requested the franchise to remove a certain sponsor logo from their match jersey. CSK Management has accepted Moin Ali's request.

Actually, Moeen Ali is a staunch Muslim and his faith forbids the consumption of alcohol. He does not endorse the logo of liquor brands on any of his jerseys, whether for England or any other home team. If he plays around the world, he does not promote any brand of liquor in any way. CSK also has a logo on their jerseys, which they are not going to keep on their jerseys.

The jerseys of Chennai Super Kings carry the SNJ 10000 logo, a surrogate product brand from Chennai-based SNJ Distilleries. CSK management has agreed to Moeen's request and removed the logo from his match jersey. CSK bought 33-year-old Moin Ali in an IPL 2021 auction in February for Rs 7 crore. This is Moin's second IPL franchise after Royal Challengers Bangalore, with which he played 3 seasons after 2018.

Moeen has played 19 IPL matches so far, in which he has scored 309 runs and taken 10 wickets. Last month, Moin expressed his excitement to play at CSK this season under the leadership of former Indian captain MS Dhoni. Speaking to CSK's website, Moeen Ali had said, "I have spoken to the players who have played under the captaincy of MS Dhoni and they tell me how he improves his game. I believe that one The great captain does that."
