RCB captain Virat Kohli has given a statement in which he has said that the team is optimistic about the win. On the other hand, de Villiers has said that I feel as if IPL 2020 is over tomorrow.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli is 'excited' to see the Indian Premier League (IPL) return to the country, as the 13th edition of the tournament was held in the UAE due to a corona virus epidemic. Kohli is looking forward to things from RCB in the cash-rich league this year, as the team looks a bit stronger and different this time.

In the video shared on RCB's Twitter handle, Virat Kohli can be heard saying, "It feels real. Honestly, I don't feel like we were gone for too long, because in between There was a lot of cricket, but yes very excited that we are playing again in India. However, in a different way, in a different setting. I am very optimistic and yes I feel good at the moment."

RCB batsman AB de Villiers can still feel the momentum that his team achieved in the 13th edition of the IPL in the UAE. RCB is set to play an IPL 2021 opening match against Mumbai Indians on 9 April in Chennai and de Villiers feels that the team can go on to a winning pace from last year's tournament. RCB played good cricket last year, but the team was eliminated after the playoffs.

De Villiers said, "It was a long journey. It is a great pleasure to be back with RCB, it seems like only yesterday we have finished the IPL. I think we have momentum from the last tournament and we will take advantage of that . Some new and some old names are associated with the team, people know. Dan (Christian) has been with RCB before, but Maxie (Glenn Maxwell) will be with the team for the first time. "
