Rumours about LG's exit from the mobile technology business are gathering steam and a further announcement is expected.

The South Korean company LG is one of the most important in the technology sector thanks to extensive experience that has made its name known in all homes. However, this is not associated with succeeding in all markets and we can find an example in mobile telephony.

As reported in PhoneArena , LG has registered 23 consecutive quarters with losses and is evaluating different alternatives for its smartphone business, such as the sale, the reduction of business or simply retiring.

But we are not talking about distant decisions, rather a cessation may be announced next week and everything indicates that April will be a key month in this regard, so much so that there are very detailed leaks in this regard.

It is known that he has tried unsuccessfully to sell his mobile phone business and that it will most likely soon close outright, so much so that the same employees are warned that they will be reassigned to other appliance factories.

The bad news for the brand's customers would be several, on the one hand, it is taken for granted that there will be no more launches and those of this semester have been canceled, but also the annoying situation that LG mobiles will stop receiving updates. We will see what happens with the support and improvements that any mobile should receive in terms of security.

LG's attempts to attract the attention of the market have not had the expected effect , such as the LG Wing and its particular design, so it seems that all the available bullets have already been fired. Now we are waiting for the official statement of the company to inform about the future of this business.
