Due to the Corona epidemic, many states have ordered schools and colleges to be closed till March 31. Apart from this, board examinations have also been postponed. Lockdown and night curfew have been imposed in several states including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Punjab and Madhya Pradesh.

The corona virus is once again frightening. During the last 24 hours, more than 40 thousand new patients of Corona virus have been found in the country. In view of the increasing cases, many states have ordered schools and colleges to be closed till 31 March. Apart from this, board examinations have also been postponed. Lockdown and night curfew have been imposed in several states including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Punjab and Madhya Pradesh.

School closed in Punjab till 31 March

To deal with the growing cases of Corona, the Punjab government has ordered closure of schools and all educational institutions in 11 districts till 31 March. However, medical colleges will remain open during this period. Examinations to be held in the state have also been postponed. Along with this, cinema houses, multiplexes, restaurants and goods will remain closed on Sunday. Also, no more than 10 guests will be able to gather at any event in the house.

School also closed in Bhopal, Indore and Jabalpur

In view of the increasing infection of Corona in Madhya Pradesh, the State Government has directed to close school-colleges in Bhopal, Indore and Jabalpur by 31 March. In these three cities, the lockdown was announced for Saturday night from 10 am to Monday morning. Necessary services and industries will remain operational during this period, but no social function of any kind will be done without permission.

All schools closed till 8th in Puducherry

The Puducherry administration has ordered the closure of all schools from class one to eighth from 22 March to 31 May. A release issued by Director of School Education PT Rudra Gaur on Friday said that this step has been taken in view of increasing cases of corona infection. He said that the order would be applicable to all schools affiliated to the state board, CBSE and ICSE.

School closed till next order in Tamil Nadu

The Tamil Nadu government has also come into action mode regarding the speed of Corona. The Department of Revenue and Disaster Management has ordered students of classes 9th, 10th and 11th not to attend school from 22 March. Schools will remain closed until further orders. Apart from this, hostels for the above students have also been closed. However classes for students of these classes will continue through online / digital mode.
