'Mirzapur' in Delhi, a young man arrested for firing in the air at his brother's wedding

The viral video shows a man holding a black gun to his head and pointing at someone in the air. He says, "Make a video." Then the random shots start. Someone outside the video frame was heard to say, "You started doing this again!" But the shooting did not stop.

Brother's marriage, and so, a man started firing in the air as soon as he entered the 'happy' wedding. Exactly like a scene from the popular web series 'Mirzapur'. The video of wedding went viral. Police arrested the man within hours of watching the video. The incident took place in Delhi on Thursday.

As seen in OTT platform Amazon Prime's web series 'Mirzapur', the son of the main character Kalin Bhaiya broke into a wedding and shot the groom at random. Ashish, accused in the Delhi incident, committed the crime at his cousin's wedding.

Police said the shooter, Ashish alias Manish, was a member of a local gang. He is 32 years old. Ashish has been arrested for illegal possession of weapons. Police recovered a semi-automatic rifle and fresh ammunition from him. Ashish was arrested on Thursday night. According to the police, the entire credit goes to their IT team. They took action as soon as they saw the video on the net. Identified the culprit within a few hours. The culprit has also been arrested.
