Once again the speed of corona infection has increased in the country. An increase in the number of patients undergoing treatment has been recorded for the fifth consecutive day. Considering the rise in Corona infection, the string of strict restrictions have once again started.

Once again the speed of corona infection has increased in the country. An increase in the number of patients undergoing treatment has been recorded for the fifth consecutive day. In the last 24 hours, 14,199 new cases of corona have been reported, with the number of infected people in the country has increased to more than 11 million. According to the Union Ministry of Health, 83 people have died due to infection in the last 24 hours. The death toll has risen to 1,56,385. Considering the rise in Corona infection, the string of strict restrictions have once again started.

Lockdown in Amravati, Restrictions in Pune as well

In view of the increasing cases of Corona, a lockdown has been imposed in Amravati district of Maharashtra for a week. Orders have also been given to close schools, colleges and coaching institutes in Pune. Barring people connected with essential services from 11 am to 5 am, the rest of the people are barred from leaving the house. The central government has asked the affected states to expedite RT-PCR investigation.

Restrictions in Akola, Washim, Buldhana and Yavatmal also

Restrictions have also been imposed in four other districts of Maharashtra - Akola, Washim, Buldhana and Yavatmal. The order issued by the state government states that all shops, government and private educational institutions, coaching centers, training schools will remain closed in lockdown except the essential goods shops. People will be allowed to buy goods from 9 am to 5 pm only.

Those not wearing masks in Palghar fined 

In Palghar district, a fine of over 36 thousand rupees has been charged from 189 people who did not wear masks in the last two days. CM Uddhav Thackeray has banned all political, religious and social gatherings in the state since Monday.

Decision to keep schools and colleges closed 

In Nagpur, it has been decided to keep all the schools and colleges closed till next March 7. During this time the main markets will be closed on Saturdays and Sundays. In view of increasing cases of corona infection, the main markets will be run with a capacity of 50 per cent for the remaining days. The markets are ordered to be closed on weekends till March 7. 

Pawar canceled public programs

At the same time, NCP President Sharad Pawar has canceled all his public programs in view of increasing cases. On Sunday, 6,971 new cases of corona were reported in Maharashtra, which has increased the number of infected to 21,00,884. The number of deaths has increased to 51,788 with 35 deaths due to infection in the state.

Increased investigation at airports 

The investigation at the Indira Gandhi International Airport has been extended in view of the possibility of a new form of Corona coming from other countries. Till now, about five to seven hundred people were used to check, which has now increased almost 10 times and seven thousand passengers are being examined every day. Investigation of travelers coming from countries of Britain, West Asia and Europe has been made mandatory.
