Things are getting worse in Syria and Congo. In Syria, where crores of people are not getting enough food, the future of displaced children in the Congo is in danger. A report has emerged regarding this.

Two major UN agencies, the World Food Program (WFP) and UNICEF, have made a disclosure expressing concern for the people of Syria and Congo. The WHFP says that 125 million people in Syria, who have been suffering from civil war for years, cannot even get enough food. According to the agency, it is about 60 percent of the total population here.

The organization has told in a report that in the last one year, there has been a tremendous jump in the prices of food items in Syria and their prices have gone up by about 250 percent. It also states that in view of the circumstances and rising prices, more than half of the people in the current year will find it difficult to get enough food for themselves. Similarly, UNICEF has expressed concern over the critical condition of about 30 displaced children in the Congo.

It has been said on behalf of the organization that these children are facing the struggle and hunger between various factions here. On Friday, rebel groups set an entire village on fire and looted several schools, including health centers, on behalf of the organization. Due to this, the difficulties of protecting themselves in front of many families have increased. Let us tell you that common citizens of both Syria and Congo have been witnessing such incidents for years.

Concerns have been expressed in the United Nations many times about these. The UN report says that in the last one year only about 4.5 million additional Syrian citizens have joined the trough of food insecurity. The global epidemic of corona has made the path of these people more difficult. People's work throbs are closed and all means of employment and earning are closed. In such a situation, hundreds of people are moving towards starvation every day.

Everyday life of these people is getting cut in trouble. According to Sean O'Brien, Syrian representative and country director at the WHFP, the situation was not so bad before. The capital of these people, who have been living in the midst of struggle for years, has now come to an end.

On the other hand, in the Congo, UNICEF says that the displaced children are not able to think of themselves only in the shadow of fear. There is a deep crisis on their future. He says that the world's attention is less towards this monstrous crisis here.

The world is becoming careless towards this region. While resources are needed to provide these children a better and safer future. United Nations figures show that there are about 52 lakh people displaced here. It has been displaced in the past half a year. These include 3 million children.
