The CBI, which is investigating the illegal coal mining and smuggling case, on Sunday issued a notice to Rujira Banerjee, wife of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's MP's nephew and young Trinamool Congress President Abhishek Banerjee. On Sunday afternoon, CBI officials arrived at Santiniketan, Abhishek Banerjee's residence in Kalighat area.

It has been reported that the CBI notice is in the name of his wife Rujira. It has been reported that Abhishek and his wife are not at their residence at this time. According to CBI sources, a notice has been issued to Abhishek's wife as a witness under section 180 of the CrPC.

It is reported that CBI has received some important information in the economic transaction in the coal case, in which Rujira's name has also been revealed. CBI wants to interrogate Rujira Banerjee for the same information. He does not have to appear in the CBI office. According to his convenience at his residence, CBI wants to talk to him and record his statement.

In the case of coal smuggling and cow smuggling, the Trinamool leader is looking for Vinay Mishra. Vinay Mishra is said to be close to Abhishek. Vinay is absconding at this time. At the same time, the main accused in the coal smuggling case Anup Majhi alias Lal is also absconding.

Regarding the CBI notice, Trinamool leader and spokesperson Kunal Ghosh said that this is a political conspiracy and in other cases related to Narada, BJP leader Shobhan Dev, Suvendu Adhikari, Mukul Roy and others are not being caught by CBI but gave notice at Abhishek's house.
