India has reached third place in the world in terms of Covid vaccination

The vaccination campaign is gaining momentum. The Union Health Ministry said on Thursday that India ranks third worldwide in terms of Kovid vaccination. So far, Covid-19 vaccine has been applied to more than 98 lakh people.

The vaccination campaign against Corona is gaining momentum. The Union Health Ministry said on Thursday that India ranks third worldwide in terms of Kovid vaccination. Only India and England are ahead of India. The ministry says that till now a total of 98.5 lakh health workers and advance front personnel have been given Covid-19 vaccines. 

The Union Health Ministry stated that so far, a total of 98,46,523 doses of Kovid Vaccine have been given in 2,10,809 sessions. There are 62,34,635 health workers who have been given the first dose while 4,64,932 such health workers have been given the second dose. Apart from these, 31,46,956 employees deployed on the advance front have been given the first dose. 

The Union Health Ministry said that 3,17,190 doses of Covid Vaccine were given in a day till 6 pm on Thursday, the 34th day of the vaccination campaign. Of these, 2,21,425 people were given the first dose while 95,765 health workers were given the second dose of Kovid vaccine. 10,159 sessions were held on Thursday. 

The Union Health Ministry said that on Thursday, vaccination campaign was carried out in all states and union territories. More than 75 percent of registered health workers were vaccinated for the first dose in a total of 11 states and union territories. These include Bihar, Tripura, Odisha, Lakshadweep, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh.
