The team management is working on the workload of the players. Under this, India's senior fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah can be rested from the limited overs series against England.

The Indian team gave rest to fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah in the second match of the Test series. He was seen preparing heavily before the Day Night Test against England in Ahmedabad. It is reported that the team management is working on the workload of the players. Under this, India's senior fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah can be rested from the limited overs series against England.

After the Test series between India and England, five T20s and then a series of three ODIs are to be played. Five T20 matches will be played at Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad. The T20 and ODI series matches will be played in March. T20 matches will be played from March 12 to 20.

Bumrah was also rested in the second Test at Chepak, which India won by 317 runs. He will play the next two Tests, winning by which India are trying to make it to the first World Test Championship final. A senior BCCI official said, "Jasprit has bowled 180 overs since the start of the tour of Australia and has bowled around 150 overs in four Tests. Also spent many hours on the field. So they have to rest in the series in limited overs.

Ravichandran Ashwin performed well in IPL and now it remains to be seen whether he will return like Rahul Dravid (2011 England Series). At that time Dravid returned to the ODI team after three years and it was the basis of his great performance in Test matches. Dravid, however, announced his retirement after that series. At the same time, the name of Mumbai's talented batsman Suryakumar Yadav can also be considered as the selectors are eyeing the T20 World Cup.
