The second match of the four-match Test series was played between India and England at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. In this match, India won big and equalized the series.

The host Indian team has equalized with England at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. England won the first match of the four-match Test series at the same ground by 227 runs, while India won the second match by a margin of 317 runs and got the score. Now the third Test match between the two teams will be played from February 24 at Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad. 

In this match, the Indian team won the toss and scored 329 runs batting first, which included Rohit Sharma's century. England had scored just 134 runs in their first innings. India had a lead of 195 runs on the basis of the first innings and in this second innings, India scored 286 runs thanks to Ashwin's century. At the same time, the England team, chasing the target of 482, piled on 164 and lost the match by a huge margin of 317 runs.

In this match, Indian team captain Virat Kohli won the toss and chose to bat first. In the first innings, India had scored 161 runs in the first innings of Rohit Sharma and then Ajinkya Rahane's 67 and Rishabh Pant's unbeaten 58 runs scored 329 runs. In response, the England team collapsed for 134 runs. In this way, India got a valuable lead of 195 runs. In this way, India played ahead, scoring 286 runs in their second innings on the basis of R Ashwin's century and Virat Kohli's half-century and set a target of 482 runs in front of England.
