BCCI President Sourav Ganguly said that having a pink ball test in every series is an ideal situation and in the longest format of cricket it will be helpful in bringing a large number of spectators to the ground. The India and England teams will play the third Test match of the series from February 24 at Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad, which will be played with pink ball. Fans will be present in that test as well and Ganguly has already said that tickets for this test have been sold out.
Ganguly said, 'Ahmedabad tickets have been sold out. I have spoken to Jai Shah and he is very keen on this Test match. For him also, cricket is coming back in Ahmedabad after six-seven years as they have built a new stadium. I told him that we had set an example with the Pink Ball Test in Kolkata last year. So it cannot go above that and we want to see every seat and stand full. This is the reason why all tickets have been sold, even T20 tickets have been sold after the Test. We want to see the audience back. '
