The decision to open school-college is not right now, education minister said

The state's educational institutions have been closed for a long time due to the Covid-19 epidemic. The education department has not yet come to a decision on opening them. This was stated by Education Minister Partha Chatterjee in response to a question in this regard at Trinamool Bhaban on Sunday.
On this day, he said, "Sanitation work of all educational institutions is going on. Even though the school was closed, we did not stop education process. Reading is going on through online classes, phone, TV. There are also tests. After that, the decision will have to be taken after considering all the aspects and talking to the state government. Care should also be taken so that students are not affected. Schools had already opened in many states. But it had to be stopped again due to the spread of the infection."
Explaining that the transition is a big headache for the education department now, he said, "We have to look at the health aspect along with education. But we have to run reading with importance. That is why we have paid special attention to technology, "he said.
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has announced the launch of Alchiki language schools in the state. The recruitment of Alchiki language teachers for that school will be completed by February 3. Besides, the education minister further said that all the remaining exams of TET will be completed by the 31st of this month.
