Wonder Woman 1984 debuted in 32 countries and among its collections are the 3.6 million from Taiwan , the 2 from Thailand, the 1.7 from Brazil or the 1.6 from Mexico and Japan, according to the data that Variety has advanced.

The second solo installment of the DC superhero, Wonder Woman 1984 , has entered theaters during its first five days 38.5 million dollars  (about 31 million euros) internationally. It will not be released in the United States until Christmas Day, and it will do so simultaneously in theaters and on the HBO Max platform.

Although the eyes of the Hollywood industry were largely on the Chinese market. And there it debuted raising 18.8 million, slightly less than half of the 38 that the first amassed in 2017.

And also well below the highest grossing in the Asian giant last weekend, the native action film The Rescue , which narrates the adventures of a group of Chinese coast guards immersed in a serious crisis that could cause a world catastrophe. Directed by Dante Dam, it took first place thanks to its 35 million .

However, in these times complicated by the pandemic, considering the results and taking into account that it is a blockbuster that has cost 200 million dollars, it seems impossible that it can give benefits in its exhibition in cinemas.

As for Spain, the still provisional figures from ComScoreMovies show revenues of 895,226 euros  and almost 134 thousand viewers who would have passed through the box office.
