Tata's car sales double in November, Maruti, TVS, Bajaj not far behind

The sales of Tata vehicles have been registered more than 100 percent in November. Tata sold 21,641 units in November-2020, while only 10,400 units were sold in November-2019.
Many auto companies have presented the figures for the month of November. The country's largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki sold a total of 1.53 lakh vehicles in November. Maruti's total sales in November increased by 1.7 percent to 1.53 lakh units on an annual basis, compared to 1.51 lakh units in November last year.
Maruti's total domestic sales grew by 0.4 per cent to 1.44 lakh units in November on an annual basis, compared to 1.43 lakh units in November last year. Maruti's exports grew 29.7 percent year-on-year to 9,004 units in November, compared to 6,944 units in November last year.
Sales of Tata cars increased
Hyundai Motor India sales rose 9.4 percent in the domestic market. Hyundai sold a total of 48,800 vehicles in November 2020, while a total of 44,600 vehicles were sold in November 2019. At the same time, the sales of Tata vehicles have been registered more than 100 percent in November. Tata sold 21,641 units in November-2020, while only 10,400 units were sold in November-2019.
Motor sales figures showed a 21 per cent increase in sales in November. In November 2020, a total of 322,709 vehicles were registered for TVS. Whereas in November 2019, 266,582 units of vehicles were registered. Two-wheeler sales of TVS increased by 25 per cent in November 2020. Last month, a total of 3,11,519 two-wheelers were sold, while in November last year, 249,350 units of two-wheelers were sold.
Bajaj Auto has grown 5 per cent in November on an annual basis. In November 2020, Bajaj sold a total of 4,22,240 vehicles. While the company sold 4,03,223 units of vehicles in November 2019. The domestic market has recorded a 4 per cent decline in sales over the previous year. In the domestic market, Bajaj sold a total of 1,98,933 vehicles in November 2020, compared to 2,07,775 units sold in November last year.
Agricultural equipment manufacturer Escorts Agri Machinery rose 33 per cent to 10,165 units in November. In November last year, the company sold 7,642 tractors. The company said that its tractor sales in the domestic market rose by 30.9 percent to 9,662 units from 7,379 units in November 2019. The company's exports in November stood at 503 units, compared to 263 units in the same month a year ago.
